Common League Questions:
-
Grades 2-4:
Grades 2-4 meet 1 day per week for 1 hour learn & play sessions. We meet from 1-2pm at our home field each week. We cover a few lessons and then have an internal scrimmage to put the lessons into practice. We complete the season with a 2-hour tournament and celebration in Lexington.
Grades 5-8:
Games for grades 5-8 are typically held on Sunday afternoons between 3 - 5pm, depending on our opponent’s availability. This is a travel program. We will have home and travel games at this grade level.
We hold our recommended practice sessions on Saturday afternoons from 2-3:30pm for those that can make it.
-
Grades 2 through 8.
All towns are welcome.
You do not need to be a Framingham resident to join.
We break into brackets based on grade, skill, and interest levels of the children that register.
This is a co-ed league where all genders play together.
-
We hold home games and practices at Potter Road Elementary School in Framingham. We do our best to keep travel games within a 30 minute drive of Framingham.
-
If we are not at capacity, you are still welcome to register late even if the season has begun.
Visit the Registration page and follow the BUDA link for more detailed information.

The non-profit organization Boston Ultimate Disc Alliance (BUDA) is helping coordinate once again.
They have implemented a "Call your own fee" program. The anticipated fee is $75, but there are options to pay less if you need.
The fee goes towards discs for each child to keep, a shirt for the season, insurance to acquire our field, and similar costs. All of the coaches and staff are 100% volunteers and give their time to help grow the sport of ultimate to Framingham and the surrounding communities.
To lower the cost, enter any of the following as a coupon code at checkout: BYP75 (free), BYP35 ($35 off), etc.

In short, ABSOLUTELY!
Coaches:
In order to run the program we need to have a coaching staff lined up. If you are interested in helping to coach, please reach out through the Contact Page. Thank you!
Other Volunteers:
I am hoping that this league will be bigger and better each year. Outside of coaching, it is mostly a one-person show, where I try to juggle all of the duties behind the scenes. If you are interested in volunteering to help with outreach, planning, field prep, registration desk assistance, or would like to help in other ways that I am probably missing...please reach out through the Contact Page. Thank you to our helpful volunteers from the BoweRs family and all of our amazing volunteer coaches!
